Worcestershire floods: Inside flood-hit house

About 30 houses in a Worcestershire village were evacuated in the early hours of Sunday morning after heavy rain led to flooding.

One of the affected residents in Kempsey, Jenny Robinson, said her pet dog alerted her to the crisis.

Ms Robinson said: "Our dog woke us up...barking, absolutely uncontrollably.

"My partner came down to see what was going on.

"I looked out of my window and just saw water.

"Yes, there's thousands and thousands of pounds worth of damage... but ultimately everyone is safe."

Reporter Giles Latcham's full report from Worcestershire on BBC Inside Out will be on BBC One in the West Midlands region on Monday, 26 November at 19:30 GMT and can be watched on the iPlayer for seven days thereafter.
