Malvern's Jenny Lind remembered

Recently, it was the 125th anniversary of Jenny Lind's death, an international celebrity who lived in Malvern in the 19th century.

She was in great demand throughout Sweden and northern Europe during the 1840s, but after two acclaimed seasons in London, she announced her retirement from opera at the age of 29.

Now we weren't about then - so it made us wonder - what would happen if we sent a BBC Introducing presenter - back to 1840?
