Hedge End homes flooded after burst water main

Several homes have been flooded and residents are without water after a water main burst in Hampshire.

The flooding started on Stanier Way in Hedge End, near Southampton, after the burst at about 10:00 GMT. Three other roads are also affected.

Sixteen properties, including bungalows, have been flooded with about 1ft (30cm) deep water.

Southern Water said it had turned the water main off and was now working to restore supplies to residents.
