Donor's plight to help young kidney patient

A man who donated a kidney at the age of 83 is encouraging others to help a young mother in the Hampshire village where he lives.

Nicholas Crace, from Overton, donated a kidney in 2012 after his wife Brigid died, because he wanted to "do something useful".

Now a young mother in the village has suffered kidney failure and he wants to help.

He has sent a flyer to Overton's 2,000 residents, hoping to encourage someone to make the same gesture he did.
