CCTV shows mobility scooter hitting man

CCTV caught the moment a pensioner on a mobility scooter deliberately ran over a grandfather on a Southampton street.

James Bradley was given a suspended sentence after he left his victim, Patrick Sheeny, with a broken ankle and knee in the attack in Portswood in May.

The 66-year-old, of Winn Road, Southampton, admitted causing grievous bodily harm at a previous hearing.

He was sentenced to 16 months in jail, suspended for two years, and made the subject of a restraining order.
