New threat to Avon river roach survival

A pioneering wildlife project based in a Hampshire back garden has started to attract the attention of conservationists across the country.

Two passionate anglers have been working to restore roach to the River Avon, after numbers collapsed in recent years.

However an increase in the numbers of cormorants has emerged as a new threat, just as the fish have begun to thrive.
