Pupils given Cowes Week sail training days

Year six pupils on the Isle of Wight could be given an "on the water" experience, thanks to a sailing charity.

The UK Sailing Academy (UKSA), based on the island, is the official charity of this year's Cowes Week regatta.

It provides sail and watersports training to help make a difference to the lives of disadvantaged young people.

Funds raised during the regatta will help provide sail experience days for local schoolchildren.
