Chris Packham talks of Montagu harrier 'heartbreak' in Malta

BBC wildlife presenter Chris Packham has spoken of his "heartbreak" after helping a vet to put down a Montagu harrier during a trip to Malta.

It follows his questioning by police on the island during the making of a documentary about the killing of migratory birds.

A group of Maltese hunters had complained the Springwatch presenter, who lives in the New Forest, and his crew had trespassed and breached privacy rules when they began filming.

James Ingham reports.
