Teenager with brain tumour gains GCSEs

A Hampshire teenager who has an inoperable brain tumour has gained nine GCSEs.

Sam John, from Fareham, who flew out to Florida after sitting his last paper to have proton therapy, received three As, five Bs and a C.

He expected to fail some subjects because of stress, but admitted he was "happy" with the results.
