Calls for Stroud gun death case to be reviewed

The former head of homicide at Scotland Yard has urged Gloucestershire Police to reinvestigate the death of a man who died in 1990.

Tony Alliss was shot dead in woodland near Stroud following a following a long-running boundary dispute. His neighbours were acquitted at their trial.

Having looked at the case former Cdr Dave Johnston said he believed the original investigation was flawed.
