Gloucester display for Celtic art mirror

One of the finest items of Celtic art in Britain is to be shown off at the Gloucester Museum.

The Birdlip Mirror was discovered by workmen in 1879.

David Rice , the museum's curator, has described it as "one of the most important archaeological discoveries ever made in Gloucestershire" and wants to "separate the facts from the myths" at a special talk at the museum on Wednesday.
