Gloucester Cathedral dig uncovers 500-year-old rosary bead

An archaeological dig at Gloucester Cathedral has uncovered a 500-year-old rosary bead.

The object was found by experts digging on College Green next to the building's south porch.

A new public space will be created after the dig has finished as part of the Project Pilgrim scheme to redevelop parts of the cathedral.
