Plea to find 'actual dimensions' for Berkeley railway station

A group of railway enthusiasts is putting out a plea to find the "actual dimensions" for an old railway station they are renovating.

Tim Cambray, from Vale of Berkeley Railway, said they had "yet to find any decent plans" of the remains of the buildings at the old railway station in Berkeley.

The buildings fell into disrepair in the 1960s, after the Severn Railway Bridge was damaged leaving the station isolated and unused.

The team's eventual aim is to run a heritage service from Sharpness to Berkeley.
