Star Wars: Puzzlewood 'magical' location for filming

A filming location in Gloucestershire was chosen for the new Star Wars film because of its "magical" qualities, the president of Lucasfilm has said.

Scenes in The Force Awakens were shot at Puzzlewood near Coleford in the Forest of Dean last year.

Lucasfilm president, and the film's producer, Kathleen Kennedy, told the BBC the location was the "most magical forest on the face of the earth" and it "defined everything that we were looking for".

She added she would love to return to Puzzlewood for more Star Wars filming - "we'll just have to figure out the new scene".
