David Dimbleby tribute to election expert Anthony King

Professor Anthony King, who helped the BBC with its election coverage for more than 20 years, has died at the age of 82.

His death was confirmed by the University of Essex where he taught political sciences from 1966.

The presenter of the BBC's election night programmes David Dimbleby was a colleague and friend of Professor King. He told BBC Radio 4's World at One that he was "very keen that we should understand how things work."
