Essex train commuters make rail delay video diary

A father and daughter from Essex frustrated by rail delays have recorded a video diary.

Steve Coleman and daughter Melissa commute to London from Chelmsford,

They both say long delays on their journey are frequent and have started recording some of their experiences on their phones.

Currently most train companies offer compensation for delays of 30 minutes or more.

Recently the government announced that compensation will be introduced for passengers delayed for 15 minutes.

Greater Anglia, which operates trains between Essex and London, said it "understands and shares customers' frustrations when delays occur".
