Fire hits Exeter's Cathedral Green in Devon

A large fire has taken hold at buildings on Exeter's Cathedral Green.

Footage taken from the roof of Exeter Cathedral shows the blaze, which began at an art gallery and has now spread to the Royal Clarence Hotel.

A total of 110 firefighters, police, paramedics and 20 fire engines are at the scene. There are no reported casualties.

Exeter University historian Dr Todd Gray said the buildings were "hugely significant".
