Farm in Derbyshire welcomes five-legged lamb

A lamb with five legs has been born at a farm in Derbyshire.

Farmer Mark Bayley said the young male, born on Thursday morning, had been checked by a vet and appeared fit and healthy.

The Texel Mule cross has been named Forrest in anticipation of his extra limb giving him the same passion for running as movie character Forrest Gump.

The family said he would probably be kept as a pet rather than being sold for meat.
