Mia Ayliffe-Chung's mother pays tribute to her daughter

The mother of backpacker Mia Ayliffe-Chung ,who was killed in Australia, has paid tribute to her "vivacious and extremely funny" daughter.

Rosie Ayliffe, from Wirksworth in Derbyshire, said she thought she had done something wrong when police came to tell her Mia had been killed.

Mia's sister Nicola Hawkridge-Chung praised the bravery of Tom Jackson who died after suffering head injuries as he tried to stop the attack.
