Derby hospital boss works on ward to 'stay in touch'

The boss at a Derbyshire NHS hospital is helping look after patients once a month in a bid to find what changes are needed on the shop floor.

Sue James, a former actress and now chief executive at Derby Hospitals NHS Trust, has decided to work on the wards as a healthcare assistant.

She says she wants to gain respect and insists it is not a way to spy on staff.
