Medieval wall found hidden under Coventry car park

Part of a medieval wall has been uncovered beneath a car park in Coventry.

The remains were found by archaeologists during a survey ahead of work to build a £50m student accommodation block.

Richard Buckley, co-director of University of Leicester Archaeological Services, said the foundations of the new development, in Fairfax Street, might be moved slightly to help preserve the wall.
