Emojis for over 50s created including back pain and bingo pics

A grandmother has created a range of emojis reflecting the lives of over 50s, which could soon be in use after being sent for official approval.

Diane Hill, from Coventry, wanted "back pain", "bingo" and a "face looking disapprovingly over glasses" to be added to the existing faces.

BBC Coventry & Warwickshire put the 56-year-old in touch with local artist Chris Oxenbury, who sketched her ideas.

They "emoldjis" have been sent to Unicode Consortium, which regulates emoji updates.
