Asian sex abuse victims 'forced to remain silent'

Campaigners have said Asian victims of rape and sexual abuse are often forced to remain silent to protect their family's "honour".

Victims are often blamed instead of being offered help and support, according to researchers in Coventry.

As a result, those who speak out can either be abandoned or ostracised by their relatives who accuse them of bringing shame on their family.

BBC Asian Network reporter Poonam Taneja reports.
