Watch: Collection box stolen from St Ives shop

Police are hunting a masked thief who walked out of a shop with a collection box.

The hooded thief took the box, containing an estimated £30, from the Norway Store in St Ives at about 16:30 GMT on Friday.

The money was being raised to support street lights in the town by the St Ives Decorative Lights Association.

Shop assistant Matthew Hayter said: "I chased him out of the shop but he ran away.

"It's a pretty pathetic thing to do for that amount of money."
