Cornish town plans crackdown on second homes

St Ives Town Council wants to prevent people from buying a second property in the area, because it has a particular shortage of affordable housing.

It is holding a referendum on whether all newly built homes should be reserved for people who actually want to live in them.

Paul Moss spoke to people in the town about the bold new proposal.
