Peterborough's Nene Valley Railway turns 40

Nene Valley Railway is celebrating 40 years since it opened to passengers.

The railway, near Peterborough, was started by a small group of enthusiasts who wanted to save some of the area's Victorian locomotive heritage.

The star attraction is Thomas, a blue engine named by Rev W Awdry, author of Thomas the Tank Engine.
