'Test tube baby' Louise Brown speaks of 'downside' of fame

The world's first "test tube baby" Louise Brown has spoken of the impact fame has had on her life.

She was described as a "miracle baby" when she was born in 1978. The medical team went on to form the World's first IVF centre - Bourn Hall Clinic in Cambridgeshire.

Mrs Brown said while much of the attention had been positive, there had been the "downside" of being photographed in public and feeling like "you have to look over your shoulder".

Louise Brown is the author of My Life as the World's First Test-Tube Baby.
