Man pops question in surprise shopping centre proposal

A Christmas shopper got a surprise while out shopping - and the happy occasion happened to be caught on camera.

James Smith proposed to Sophie Ricardo at Cabot Circus in Bristol to cheering crowds.

The bride-to-be, from Dorchester, said she was "overwhelmed and shocked", while her new fiancé said he was "over the moon" she accepted.
