Drinkaware team patrolling Bristol's riverside at night

Specially trained volunteers have been patrolling Bristol's riverside outside the Thekla nightclub.

The volunteers, who are operating as part of charity Drinkaware's "Don't Drink And Drown" scheme, aim to help people who may be vulnerable after drinking too much alcohol on a night out.

The initiative follows the death of Oliver Feast, 20, who drowned after going to the Thekla, which is on a boat moored in Bristol Harbour, in February 2015.

BBC reporter Andrew Plant spoke to Matt Jenkinson, from the Thekla, and to Andrea Roberts from the Life Saving Society.
