Student Imogen Proctor speaks of alopecia hair loss shock

A Bristol woman has spoken of the shock of losing her hair.

Student Imogen Proctor, who has alopecia, said she first noticed her hair falling out in October 2013.

"I couldn't even cry, I was in that much shock" she said.

The 24-year-old said she felt like she had "lost her femininity".

Ms Proctor, originally from Lincolnshire, said her hair has now started to grow back, but losing it "made her a better person".
