On board Concorde's first flight, 40 years on

Forty years ago, on 21 January 1976, the world watched as Concorde took its first commercial flights around the world.

British Airways carried passengers from Heathrow to Bahrain while Air France flew from Paris to Rio in record time, revolutionising air travel.

It took its final flight in November 2003 from Heathrow to Filton, Bristol, where a museum is planned.

BBC Points West's Catherine Powell reports.
