Dogs rescued from Solihull puppy farm's filthy conditions

A man has been jailed for mistreating dogs living in filthy conditions at a puppy farm.

An RSPCA investigation of the site in Solihull, West Midlands, found one puppy dead in a plastic bag and a list of actions including "use whip to crack in yard".

More than 30 dogs were discovered, some of which were coated in urine and faeces.

Sean Kerr, 52, of Pastures Farm, Coventry Road, Solihull, was sentenced to six months in prison for a range of animal welfare offences.
