Morris dancers accused of 'mocking black people'

A troupe of Morris dancers wearing black face paint was harangued during a street performance and accused of being racist.

A man calling himself 'Ben' posted a mobile phone video on YouTube which shows a man arguing with the Alvechurch group in Birmingham city centre.

He asks repeatedly, "Is this not racist?", while one of the dancers can be heard saying, "No it isn't", and offering to explain.

The BBC has been unable to contact Ben, while the Alvechurch Morris dancers have not yet commented.
