Asian fashion catwalk show takes place in Birmingham

As the market for Asian fashion grows, a catwalk show has taken place in Birmingham to celebrate the latest trends.

Women from all backgrounds came together at Tipu Sultan, in Moseley, for the event, which was raising money for the Human Appeal charity.

Among those attending was Sajida, who said fashion "is not a taboo subject".

She added you can be individual and unique and "still be a Muslim or Asian woman in UK society today".

This year, high street retailer H&M launched a collection by British Muslim Dina Tokio.
