Freedom of Dudley given to Paralympic star Jordanne Whiley

Double Paralympic medallist Jordanne Whiley has been awarded the freedom of her home borough of Dudley, in the Black Country.

The three times Wimbledon champion received the honour at her old school - St Margaret's at Hasbury CE Primary - in Halesowen.

She said she chose to pick it up there because "she had so many good memories".

In 2015, the 24-year-old was awarded the MBE for services to wheelchair tennis in the Queen's birthday honours list.
