Puppy stabbed and dumped in Birmingham park

The body of a puppy has been found with stab wounds in a Birmingham park.

The RSPCA says it's horrified by the attack on the seven-month-old brindle and white female Staffordshire Bull Terrier. The dog was found by members of the public in Walker Heath Park, in Druids Heath, Birmingham, on Saturday.

She had two stab wounds to the chest and a fractured left hind leg.

RSPCA Chief Inspector Tim Scott said the charity wanted anyone with information to come forward.
