Birmingham sporting greats join Walk of Stars

Two of Birmingham's best-known sporting greats have been honoured with a star each on the city's Walk of Stars.

Cricketer Dennis Amiss, who played for Warwickshire and England, and the 1969 Wimbledon champion Ann Jones, said they were "delighted" with the honour.

Their names will join more than 30 famous Brummies, including musicians Noddy Holder and Jeff Lynne, on the Walk of Stars on Broad Street.
