Police drugs crackdown: Driver 'smokes cannabis on driveway'

A third of motorists stopped and tested for drugs by West Midlands Police have been found to be under the influence of cocaine or cannabis.

Officers carried out the testing as part of a pre-Christmas crackdown.

In two weeks, 33 people have been arrested after officers were issued with new roadside drug testing kits.

One man who tested positive told the BBC: " I smoke my cannabis in my car in my driveway and then get out and go home."
