Birmingham students create healthy snack range

Six teams of students from University College, Birmingham have been competing to create healthy snacks which will be sold in hospital vending machines.

Experts say too much junk food is available in hospitals which makes it difficult for patients to make healthy choices.

The students' challenge was to create a range of low-calorie vending products which are free from artificial ingredients.

Midlands Today's Nicola Beckford spoke to them.
