Queen Elizabeth Hospital suspends refractory epilepsy surgery
Epilepsy patients across the Midlands could miss out on a life-changing procedure because of a row over funding.
Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital, which is the regional centre for brain surgery, said it had suspended the refractory epilepsy surgery because NHS England would not pay for it.
David Knowles has been left in limbo after his operation was cancelled.
