Slough MP Fiona Mactaggart tired of the struggle to 'make a difference'

A Labour MP has said frustration with politics has "sucked the energy out of her" and has contributed to her standing down after 20 years.

Fiona Mactaggart added that it was the "right time" to stand down as Slough's MP.

She announced on Thursday that she will step aside and "give someone else the chance to do the next step".
