Berkshire army reservists to fight African elephant poachers

A group of part-time soldiers based in Berkshire will help the military in Gabon to tackle the illegal ivory trade.

The central African country has seen its population of African forest elephants reduce by 60%, as a result of killings by poachers.

The 7 Rifles will show the military essential life skills like finding their own food, water, and techniques on how to track the poachers.
