Reading musician finds his stolen goods on eBay
A musician from Reading who had thousands of pounds of equipment stolen from his van discovered many of the items had been sold on the internet auction site eBay.
Garreth Hicklin, a member of an Eagles tribute band, said he gave the details to the Metropolitan Police repeatedly, but that the force failed to follow them up properly.
A Metropolitan police spokesman said a woman had been charged under the Proceeds Of Crime act.
An eBay spokesman said it did not allow stolen goods to be auctioned on its site.
