Woodchip-fuelled Waitrose opens in Bracknell

A new "greener" supermarket using woodchip as fuel has opened in Berkshire.

The new Waitrose store in Bracknell uses technology to convert the chips into gas, which is burnt to power the supermarket.

The woodchips come from forests within a 30-mile radius.
