Milton Keynes: CCTV shows 'one-minute keyless car theft'

The theft of a keyless car in one minute by a group armed with a laptop has been caught on CCTV.

The men positioned themselves close to the front door of a house in Milton Keynes to intercept the signals from a key fob inside.

CCTV showed them driving away in the early hours of 29 January using data received to open the car door.

PC Mat Waters, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “As you can see from the CCTV footage, the signal from these keys can be intercepted in as little as one minute."
