John Bunyan's 17th Century meeting house redeveloped

When Terry Waite was held hostage in Lebanon in the 1980s, he received a postcard depicting a stained glass window of the writer John Bunyan, who was imprisoned in Bedford in the 17th Century for his religious views.

Now Bunyan's meeting house in Bedford, including that stained glass window, is undergoing a major redevelopment at a cost of £750,000.
