These baby eels from the River Severn make millions for slippery smugglers
Spring is peak season for legal elver fishing along the River Severn.
But the Environment Agency says it's growing increasingly concerned by the smuggling of baby eels known as elvers to the Far East.
The eels are regarded as a delicacy in the Far East where they can sell for vastly inflated prices, but because of declining numbers, their export from the EU is banned.
Border patrols are being stepped up.
