England councils 'failing 130,000 young carers'

Up to 130,000 young carers are not getting the support they need from their local council, it is estimated.

The Children’s Commissioner for England suggests they are “invisible” to their local authority.

A government strategy to outline what greater support can be offered to them is due to be published later this year.

BBC News spoke to two young carers from the West Midlands who are getting the council support they need.
