'Only solution is to sit down with the unions'

There will be no trains on any route in Southern's network either today or tomorrow after its rail drivers went on strike at midnight last night.

Nick Brown, Govia Thameslink Railway's Chief, told the Today programme a resolution would only be achieved if they were able to "sit down with the unions".
