A woman whose body has rejected two donated livers is a hoping a pioneering stem cell transplant will be successful and means she can start a family.
Alex Keel is awaiting her third transplant in five years, as she fights primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC), a chronic liver condition which compromises the immune system.
The 29-year-old, from Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, is preparing to undergo treatment at Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
